Web 2.0 Assignment
I am completely overwhelmed after viewing different web 2.0 sites. It is amazing what is all available to you (and your students) at your fingertips!
The Web 2.0 that I picked is Web 2.0 Backpack. This site has web apps for students. It leads you to sites for note-taking, mind mapping, studying, bookmarking, and much more. I think it is an ideal website for students to choose which tools they want to use in order to be successful learners. The site also hooks them up with different links to keep track of schedules and reminders. It is just amazing what kids need in their "backpack" in today's age! This site could easily be used by students from third grade on up to help them with their education. It could be especially helpful to students who need help with organization.
The other site that I find extremely helpful is Teacher Tube. This is truly an amazing site for educators. There are videos on everything you can imagine. I use this site often and have found it to be a valuable resource.
